On 4 July 2023 Professor and EPLG member Albert Sanchez-Graells held the public lecture ‘AI in the public sector: can procurement promote trustworthy AI and avoid commercial capture?’ at the University of Bristol Law School. This lecture completed the research project ‘Digital technologies and public procurement. Gatekeeping and experimentation in digital public governance’. The recording and slides are available.

Prof. and EPLG member Albert Sanchez-Graells recently publishes on his blog howtocrackanut.com two policy briefings on digital technologies and public procurement. The work is part of the Professor’s research project ‘Digital technologies and public procurement. Gatekeeping and experimentation in digital public governance’, for which he was awarded a Mid-Career Fellowship by the British Academy for academic year 2022/23.
