EPLG member Prof. Piotr Bogdanowicz was cited in the Opinion of Advocate General Medina, delivered on 4 July 2024, on the Joined Cases C-728/22 to C-730/22. The cases concern three requests for a preliminary ruling made by the Italian Consiglio di Stato about the compatibility with EU law, including Directive 2014/23, of certain features of the ‘technical extension’ scheme that applies in Italy to expired concessions awarded for bingo gaming activities. On 27 June Prof. Mario Comba spoke at the Colloque BEE
On 27 June, EPLG member, Prof. Mario Comba spoke at the Colloque BEE, held in hybrid form in Bordeaux and online. During the session Acheteurs publics européens : vers des pratiques partagées, Mario explained his experience on a couple of cross border procurements with SCR Piemonte, the Central purchasing body of Regione Piemonte and discussed with other panelists, in particular with Mr. Muylles, head of unit public procurement at DG Grow, about the legal and commercial implications.
